“The year was 2081, and everybody was finally equal”
— Kurt Vonnegut

A panel of respected filmmakers and scholars in Pittsburgh has selected Touch for the 2nd Prize at the 2018 Carnegie Mellon International Film Festival – Short Film Competition. The festival’s 2018 theme is Faces of (In)Equality. Inspired by the first sentence in author Kurt Vonnegut’s dystopian short story, Harrison Bergeron.  – “The year was 2081, and everybody was finally equal” – the featured works are meant to explore “what it means to be equal or unequal in any of these words’ multiple senses and connotations.”
